In this chapter it takes about the interface. It is said that we should start an application or a web page in making an interface because it will be easier for you to code. But others program first then that’s the time they will make the interface but if you will think you will be making many changes if you make the interface first. If you start with your interface you would already know how your application goes by knowing it how would you start and etc. Customers are more attracted on the interface they don’t mind about your code. In starting with your design it will make your application flexible and gets you to those answers sooner in the process rather than later.
We should start with the epicenter and the design because they are the most important content of an application. An example of the epicenter is the blog post of a website. You first need to design it because that’s one of the most important things to do. Then you can proceed to the other process you need to start with the most important things because if you first do the other you will just end up doing nothing.
We should consider the three state solutions in making your application. The regular state is where we spend most of the time, the blank screen is where the screen that the people sees when they first use the application before entering the data’s, the error state is where the screen where the people sees if something went wrong. I think that the most important among these 3 is the blank screen because that’s the time when the people will love or hate your site, and application. If the programmer fails to design their application or site well then the users will definitely hate their program or they can create a false and negative impression to the users. When you now have encountered some problems about your application be defensive because defensive design is like defensive driving.
